Wow - what a year we have had - it's great to have reconnected with many of our
customers and shared our story in person. For those of you who are new, here's a
little background on us.
Betsy Hume is a fifth generation Californian. Her family moved to California
from Maine in the 1850's to find gold, but ended up fishing for and canning the
bountiful Salmon they found in California's Rivers. Eventually they moved on to the
fruits and vegetables of the San Joaquin Valley and the other vast fertile areas
of the State.
Take a look at the first two labels - then at our pinot and chardonnay.
Martin Sances is a recent transplant to California
from Wisconsin. Here we are at a game when the Packers came to town, and
grabbing a beer at the Essen Haus in Madison, Wisconsin.
Although wine is great - there is always time for a
beer !
Our recent "learning" trip to France - in the cellars of Burgundy and at the
Borel-Lucas Champagne house.
